I just put together an autarch and wanted to have a bunch of options available to him, so I made this guy who can have the hawk wings, a jump generator or a banner. He can have a shuriken pistol or a fusion gun. And he can have a power weapon or a scorpion chainsword. I think that those should be most of the options I'll ever want to take. Maybe I should give him a reaper launcher option. Anyway, I thought I'd show him off and see what you think:

ReplyDeleteWell it's nice to have a cheaper autarch alternative to Yriel, but yes, I have always throught that dubs autarch reserve everything would be an interesting list. I gave it a try in my most recent campaign mission and it spectacularly failed - I didn't get 2 key units on turn 2; one of the autarchs died and then I didn't get one of the units on turn 3 either :/ I really missed my farseer powers, especially doom. Still it will be worth trying again at some point.
